    Lorenzo Fertitta

    Chairman & Principal

Lorenzo is an entrepreneur, business builder and philanthropist. Growing up in Las Vegas, he and his brother Frank became part of the family casino business from an early age and also grew to love the combat sports industry. This led them to create Red Rock Resorts (formerly known as Station Casinos), one of the largest publicly traded gaming companies in the U.S., and Zuffa, LLC, which acquired the Ultimate Fighting Championship (UFC) in 2001 and operated it until its sale in August 2016.

Lorenzo is equally passionate about his philanthropic ventures which span a wide variety of causes at both the local and national level. At home, his involvement with UNLV and his high school alma mater, Bishop Gorman, have been extensive and impactful, serving to dramatically further the missions of both schools. He is also an ardent supporter of veterans and active duty students. This led him and his brother Frank to create an MBA program in partnership with New York University that is specifically designed to prepare service members for a career after the military. Lorenzo also supports the Lone Survivor Foundation, the Fisher House and the Intrepid Fallen Heroes Fund which provides support for the families of military personnel lost or severely wounded in service to our nation. In addition to these causes, Lorenzo consistently supports Las Vegas charities such as the Nathan Adelson Hospice, Catholic Charities of Southern Nevada, the Lou Ruvo Center for Brain Health/Cleveland Clinic and Three Square, a charity focused on providing wholesome food to those in need.

Lorenzo holds a BS from the University of San Diego and an MBA from the Leonard N. Stern School of Business at New York University.
